Waterplex offers a range of first flush diverters for down pipes. The domestic applications are detailed below. If you are looking for a commercial first flush diverter click here.

Domestic first flush diverters are usually installed on each down pipe delivering water to a rainwater tank. The amount of water to be diverted to a first flush diverter is determined by the size of the roof from which the rainwater is being captured.

This animation shows how a first flush diverter works. For more information on first flush diverters click here.

Domestic first flush diverters are available in 90mm and 100mm kits. The amount of water diverted to a first flush diverter is determined by the length and the diameter of the first flush chamber. This is determined by the pipe used. The actual first flush diverter kit is the attachment that goes at either end of the pipe and includes the floating ball and the diaphragm that shuts off the water when the first flush chamber is full.

See the attached brochure below for more information on the range and what is included in the kit.
