Road and Traffic Barriers
The S series road and traffic delineation barrier from Waterplex is a light-weight water filled plastic crash barrier designed to comply with AS/NZS3845:1999. The S series barrier is the first Australian designed and developed plastic road safety barrier system that complies with the rigorous requirements of TLO - AS/NZS 3845:1999. The S series road barrier is capable of providing a safety barrier that, on impact, will bring a vehicle to a controlled stop or at least provide a dramatic reduction in speed while redirecting the vehicle.
The testing criteria for the barrier for the tests carried out by the Monash University department of Engineering were as follows:

Each road barrier incorporates a unique interlocking “S” design with easy to use swing latches and bolt sets. They also incorporate forklift access for ease of placement on site if required. The “S” series road barrier is made from high impact resistant and UV stabilised LLDPE and is available in a number of high visibility colours.
