Onion bladder tanks are a unique short term portable tank solution designed to be able to take a tank to a remote or difficult location to be used for water or other liquid storage. They can be used multiple times and,provided they are handled with care when being transported, will give many years of water storage. Please note that they are designed to be portable tanks that can be transported while empty. They are not designed to transport water. Possible applications for onion water storage tanks include:
- bushfire fighting water tanks in remote locations (particularly as a water station for helicopter water buckets where they are filled from a shallower source)
