Remove Water Bladder Tanks

The Gorgon Project will develop the gas fields located about 130 kilometres off the north-west coast of Western Australia. It is one of the world's largest natural gas projects and the largest single resource natural gas project in Australia's history.Australia's largest mining and construction bladder tanks

Water is a critical resource required for the construction of facilities for the Chevron-operated LNG development on Barrow Island. The Gorgon development needed short term, large capacity and cost-effective water storage tanks for three million litres of water storage for construction on the island. Waterplex, Australia’s premier water bladder tank company developed a solution.

Australia's Largest Water Bladder Tanks

Waterplex developed, supplied and installed 3 x 1 mega litre water bladder tanks for water storage on the island. Each mega bladder tank measures 1024m² when deployed and fills to 1.1m in height. The Gorgon development bladder tanks are the largest bladder tanks ever made, supplied and deployed in Australia. The water from the bladder tanks is used for dust suppression and construction of the facilities required for the Gorgon Project. The three mega litre water storage project was delivered and deployed in full and on time by Waterplex.

Waterplex is Australia’s premier water bladder tank company and supplies industrial, commercial and mining bladder tanks and lining solutions. Contact the commercial bladder tank experts at Waterplex on 1300 72 66 70 or visit www.waterplex.com.au.
