The I-Flex food-grade bladder tank is the ideal solution to providing flexible short- and longer-term storage for food manufacturers who experience limited permanent storage capacity or who manage liquid with uncertain supply and demand patterns beyond existing storage capacity. A lightweight tank relative to its size, this bladder tank is supplied at a fraction of its final storage capacity, so it can be easily and quickly deployed at short notice with little ground preparation. The storage requirement may be either at the manufacturing location or at customer premises.
Engineered using the same materials as the well-trusted bulk liquid transport flexitanks often used for shipping liquids, the I-Flex is manufactured with a two-ply polyethylene film with a UV resistant polypropylene outer layer. It can be made to almost any capacity up to 75,000 litres, depending on the storage requirement and the available space. In order to increase storage capacity, multiple tanks can be manifolded together. In this case, it is possible to use valves to allow effective batch management of liquid food products and oils, ensuring that "first product in" is "first product out." The standard fitting on these bladder tanks is a 3" male camlock with a positive locking valve and security screw cap.
